In my work I investigate the bizarre
dichotomy between placid appearances and concealed inner turbulence.
Through drawing, photography, video, installation, and performance, I
communicate the often unseen, tarnished reality that exists behind every
seemingly unscathed being. |

I work primarily in film to capture the
often fading scenes of our Western Heritage, from small town rodeos,
cattle roundups, sheep herding, to desert flowers, rugged landscapes
showcased in those brief moments of perfect light. To present my work, I
hand-craft finely finished frames from old, reclaimed wood. Clients
include collectors, professional & corporate offices, including the
Idaho State Governor's office. |

I still have the first camera my folks gave
me-a Kodak 126x EasyLoad-that was about 40 years ago! I now use film and
digital. I am primarily a snapper. I throw the camera in the truck and
take pictures of the everyday things we all drive past. My work is
almost all in black and white. My subjects are landscapes, weather, old
cars, vintage aircraft, architecture, domestic and wild animals,
everyday folks, and the odd and unusual. I try to take photos everywhere
my wife and I go. I am a member of the Magic Valley Arts Council and my
work is on display at the Full Moon Gallery in Twin Falls. |
