Ward P. Hooper was born and raised in the Northwest. He received his art education at Boise State University. Ward has formed a career as a graphic designer, artist and illustrator in Boise. He has contributed his illustration to such clients as Albertson's Inc., Micron Technology, Smith Sport Optics and Hewlett Packard. Several of Ward's works are permanent features of the Boise Public Arts Collection. His current work has created an avid following of the "vintage advertising" style. He points to a love of history and classic advertising as a motivating factor in his work.
